We Are Volunteers Getting The Job Done

Structure Fires

When disaster strikes, we will be there. Our highly trained firefighters enter burning structures to save lives and prevent further damage.  We often work in unison with our surrounding volunteer departments.

Vehicle Accidents

When an accident happens, we are there for extrication, clean up , traffic control, and EMS assistance. 

Physical Search and Rescue

Our volunteers are ready and able to assist with search and rescue missions.  Our goal is to bring your loved one home safe.

Community Service

As a fire department, we are here to serve the community in a variety of ways such as traffic control for events such as bike rides and state championship teams, birthday ride by events, holiday celebrations and parades, educational sessions, and much more.

Miscellaneous Activities

When the PA weather strikes and trees go down, we will be there to clear the roadway. 

As a firehall family, we have fun activities such as Superbowl parties and Altoona Curve outings.  Even cleaning the trucks can be fun.

Search & Rescue

Search  & Rescue is one of the most dangerous & critical functions of the Duncansville VFD. Searching is conducted at a variety of incidents that we respond to.
